Stranraer Spiritualist Church
Paranormal Investigation of

The Judges Keep
Glenluce

Date: 25th October 2007

Time: 0000-0300hrs

The Church was asked to investigate the former hostel and public house known as the Judges Keep in Glenluce. All the team knew was, that it had a history of strange goings on which was reported as paranormal. The team were to meet at midnight. This time we were accompanied by a reporter from the free press our local weekly paper Patrick Knox, who has an interest in this field. Also present were the owners Liz, Chris Jones and a brother Vinnie, who could confirm the evidence experienced along with Chris. Vinnie had been living there on his own so has had very real experiences of the phenomenon.

Arriving at midnight the team were briefed in the hallway of the building by the owners and then split into 2 teams of 4 led by:

Marie McIntyre [church leader, psychic medium] and Pauline Whittall [fledgling psychic medium] the teams also consisted of Annie, Helma, Jemma, Fiona, Alec, Karen. All members of the training group within the church.

The power was switched off in the building which was undergoing extensive renovation so extreme care was needed, but as usual torches and walkie talkies were allowed. Team 1 started in the bottom bar and team 2 were to go down the corridor behind the bar to some small empty rooms. After the strength of energies and emotions felt in these rooms it was decided the teams should blend for safety reasons.
